Work in Progress

This is my current personal project. I had some leftover fabric from my hat project from my sophmore year. So I decided to finally make the first dress I designed, since I now have a dress form which makes building and draping easier. (As well as a helpful tool in improving my building skills) The first photo shows the dress as it was draped, without anything sewed. The other (the zoomed in photo) shows the dress after the bodice pieces have been sewed to the front skirt panel. I still need to sew down the pleats, and drape the back part of the skirt, but hope to finish that shortly. Hope you all enjoy it. I'll post pics of the
finished garment when it's completed. =D
